The vehicle’s range prediction then displayed 1,008 kilometers (626 miles). While this range figure is likely based on the China Light-Duty Test Cycle (CLTC), known for its optimistic estimations compared to U.S. EPA standards, the charging speed itself is a significant achievement.

Redefining EV Charging Convenience

The charging speeds achieved with BYD’s new system are dramatically faster than the typical 20-40 minute charging stops required by most EVs currently available in the U.S. market.
